After Mahanyasam the Guru and Shishyas chanted Ekadashavara Rudram Chanting followed by Purusha Sukhtam, Narayana Sukhtam, Sri Sukhtam and Medha Sukhtam. Shani Pradosha, the pradosha falling on a Saturday corresponding to the planet Saturn is considered important among other pradosham. It is believed that people worshipping Shiva on a Shani Pradosha will be free from the fear of death and diseases. They would also be granted worldly treasures. |
