Today, that cave has become a popular spot to visit for tourists and spiritual aspirants alike and is called the Vashishta Gufa (the cave of sage Vasishta of the Ramayana fame). But when Swami visited it in 1957, even his own entourage grumbled and complained! But that did not stop Him from visiting the cave and Swami Purushottamananda, thrice! The story that unfolded is heartening and it gives us the motivation to constantly seek God and God alone. |
