It's very interesting to know, 15 years ago, if you talk about pradosham, which is the 13th moon very few people will know about it, even in India, because it was not observed, the 13th moon was not observed. But I remember my own Guru talking about it and he used to be a very orthodox man, very particular about observing it. I have observed it with him but then at that time, nobody knew except scholars and priests in the temples, but today everybody knows in India, because it is the time of the Golden Age and particularly Lord Shiva who presides over the Golden Age, because he wants everybody to be liberated from karma. It is the day that he took up on himself the karma which is symbolized through his taking the poison himself. The poison is the karma of people, so people will lead a karma free life which is disease free and problem free life and this pradosham time ,as you know is the sunset time, an hour and a half before the sunset and that is the window time that everyone gets an opportunity to cleanse one`s karma. I`ve been advocating it because I`m very committed to solving problem of suffering, pain, ache, disappointments and diseases, which have been accompanying human life from times immemorial. We`ve never known a time when we were without any of these sufferings. But this is the time that collectively we need to participate in observing this time and praying to Shiva and then ask making his energy to come down here. He does come here. But then we can enhance that energy if all collectively observe this ritual and this particular one is called Mahapradosham or the great pradosham because it happens on a Saturday. And Saturday is considered very auspicious for Shiva, especially when it happens or falls on the 13th moon. Stay alert, pray to him. The chant that you will use is Thiruneelakantham, the one that I`ve introduced to you. Or Makkaral is another mantra that I've introduced. These are mantras especially useful for pradosham days. So Astroved has their own offerings and you can also participate in them and then be benefitted because this is very special one because it is not only Saturday which makes it special, but also on a Pushya star day. Pushya is a star ruled by Saturn. So we have a very significant opportunity.
