There are scientific reasons to back and support this conclusion. According to modern science, a human body contains negative and positive currents of electricity. The left side of the human body carries negative current, while the right side of the body has positive current. When you bow down with humility and surrendering your ego at the feet of elders, they emit positive thoughts and compassionate energy, which is called “karuna”. This is transmitted to you through their hands and toes. In essence, this completes a circuit that enables the flow of energy and increases cosmic energy, establishing a quick connect between two minds and hearts.
