He is actually the younger brother of director Siruthai Siva. Bala made his debut in the Tamil film industry in the year 2003 with the film Anbu. He has also acted in Malayalam films. He married singer Amrutha in 2016. Their daughter Avantika was born in 2012. After that both of them got divorced due to differences of opinion. Subsequently, he married a doctor named Elizabeth in 2021. Bala, Amma Appa Chellam, Kalinga, Yellow Veil, Kadhal Kisu Kisu, etc. have played the lead roles. However, he is not welcome in Tamil.
