While the FABIA has seen an increase in its passenger and luggage compartments, the use of high-strength steel components means that its weight has remained the same as in the previous generation. The model FABIA offers the latest generation of modern infotainment systems with screens up to 9.2” in size, along with up to 9 airbags and comfort features that previously tended to be the preserve of higher-end cars. At the same time, it retains the compactness typical for a supermini and boasts a best-in-class drag coefficient of cx 0.28. The new ŠKODA FABIA will command attention with its emotive look and confident proportions. The sporty appearance is accentuated by crisp-cut headlights and rear lights incorporating modern LED technology. The sleek and sporty impression is underlined even more by new wheels up to 18” in diameter. One new design feature is on the front doors, where the body lines hint at the characteristic triangular shape of the Czech flag. The new ŠKODA FABIA’s drag coefficient has been improved from the previous generation’s cx 0.32 to cx 0.28. One important feature is the innovative radiator shutter located in the lower air intake on the front bumper. When cooling is not required, the slats close by themselves. At a constant speed of 120 km/h, this translates into fuel savings of up to 0.2 l/100 km. As a result, the new FABIA emits up 5 g less CO₂/km. The new ŠKODA FABIA offers the latest generation of modern infotainment systems with displays up to 9.2” in size. The built-in eSIM card means it is always online, allowing you to receive internet radio, access the wide-ranging ŠKODA Connect mobile online services, or use new infotainment apps. With up to 9 airbags, the new ŠKODA FABIA is one of the safest cars in its class. Travel Assist 2.0 helps you to drive more safely. The automatic parking provides a higher level of comfort. The new FABIA is also the first in this model series to offer Traffic Sign Recognition and Front Assist with predictive pedestrian and cyclist protection. The new ŠKODA FABIA comes with five all-new Simply Clever features. On top of that, it is drawing on eight features from its larger siblings for the first time. The card or pen holder in front of the gear lever keeps the interior tidy. For greater flexibility, there is a removable cup holder between the front seats and a storage box near the tunnel console for rear passengers. This is placed between the centre console and the rear seats and snaps into place.
