This was a stand-out moment in the concert that brought on many tears and a standing ovation each night. Sissel expresses emotion and meaning through lyrics and music like no other. The concert was shown in 2007 on PBS stations to 4 million viewers around the country. The Christmas CD, Spirit of the Season, was #1 on Billboard’s Classical chart for nine weeks and was nominated for two Grammy® awards.
