| Video Discription | Shadow and I Rockhound a volcanic outcropping and find beautiful chalcedony and Agate. This particular agate is formed in the cracks and crevices of volcanic rock and has a purple blue hue, usually banding, and sometimes a red intrusion of most likely iron. Along the trail we stumble across old bones and then what appeared to be blood from a recent kill; likely from a hawk or coyote. We also discuss the joys of rockhounding and have an enjoyable evening as the sun sets.
