| Video Discription | For years in the black community, there has been an unspoken code for people not to tell on one another. Therefore, causing that individual to be labeled a "Snitch." However, in recent years, that has caused a riff in the black community between the older and younger generation. Some older people in the black community believe that if someone knows who committed a violent crime against another individual, that person should speak up and tell law enforcement, but many younger people disagree. They think they should remain loyal to their community and not help law enforcement; even if it means bringing justice. But others don't tell because they fear for retaliation. |
