| Video Discription | The patients comes with muscles, cramps and spasms, the cause for that may be simple over use of the muscles, dehydration, muscular causes or neurological causes. So these causes should be identified if possible and start treating them. Initially we try to treat then with simple anti-inflammatory medicine. Well most of these cases they do become better with the simple medication. Well there are certain cases when they do not become better then we have to find out what is the cause for this cramp. As I told you maybe metabolic issue like decrease in calcium, sometime Vitamin D3 problem, diabetes, then thyroid issue, so these are the causes which can precipitate the muscle cramps in spite of giving treatment then when we identify this causes then we start treating many time they become better. There are certain cases where these causes can also be treated. Well in spite of this they may not become better then we have to look into distant causes like nerves involving these muscles can cause muscle cramps then may we need special investigation like MRI scan and nerve condition study based on that we have to treat. |
