Cirrus aircraft are well known for the safety parachute system, which comes standard in all of their airplanes. Well, this was the very first general aviation aircraft to offer that safety feature as a standard equipment. Before Cirrus, no other airplane manufacturer had commercialized parachutes for airplanes. more specifically General Aviation airplanes. The year model shown the video is a 2010 Cirrus SR20. This is the 3rd generation, which began production in 2008. This model is also equipped with a Garmin G1000 Avionics package. Very capably avionics with great features you won’t find even in some airliners. Cirrus prides themselves in building luxuries aircraft where the customer rolls in style and comfort. this SR20 is no different. In the very spacious cabin you will find an all leather interior with all padded surfaces. Another comfort equipment you’ll find in the SR20 and many others is an AC unit. You don’t get that too often in GA. The Cirrus SR20 G3 is equipped with a continental IO-360 200HP engine. Speeds are moderate at 140 knots and you have a range of over 600 miles.
