| Video Discription | Winter time lapse of stratocumulus clouds over Albuquerque. This video may look similar to my time lapse videos of altocumulus stratiformis. However, the altocumulus clouds are higher and thinner. These stratocumulus are lower and thicker - notice on the left that cloud base is lower that the crest (the tip of the mountain is in the clouds). This tells us that the clouds are much lower than would be expected for altocumulus. |
