The event will witness a significant gathering of distinguished guests, collaborators, commnity leaders, and healthcare professionals, coming together to celebrate her life and discuss the current advances in public health research. The Suniti Solomon Memorial Symposium will feature special remarks by Dr Gregory Lucas, Professor at the School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), and a presentation by Dr Amita Gupta, co-chair of the Gupta-Klinsky India Institute at JHU on the institute’s commitment to India. This will be followed by a panel discussion on the lessons from COVID-19 where experts from JHU and Abbott Laboratories, will cover crucial topics such as establishing clinical protocols, conducting research in a socially distanced world, and developing diagnostics relevant to future epidemics.
