Video Discription |
The use and effectiveness of supervised injection sites (SIS) within society have been debated for many years by government officials, health authorities, researchers and the general public. This video introduces SIS with a brief background on the history within Canada. Both sides of the debate are explored with arguments for or against the use of these facilities through recent and relevant research.
This video was made by McMaster Demystifying Medicine students Esha Contractor, Ali Imran, Alyssa Kostopoulos and Lara Virgilio.
