| Video Discription | What is clinical supervision, and how do assistant psychologists and trainee clinical psychologists use it effectively? In today’s video I’m going to lay out the basics of what clinical supervision is, what good likes like, and what to bring to supervision. I am also going to speak about some of the common issues. As assistant psychologists or trainee clinical psychologists, we experience a HUGE power differential with our supervisors (who are usually very experienced and qualified clinical psychologists). This can really make it difficult to speak up and know what to do.
