This year alone, another 440 billion kilograms of new plastic will be added to what already exists. Not even 10% of that is currently recycled. The rest is waste. Half of all plastic pollution comes from single use plastic. Plastic that enters our environment degrades and threatens our health in addition to the wellbeing of nature and animals. We breathe, eat and drink plastic. It has now even been found in our blood. This must stop, before it is too late. Plastic Soup Foundation fights against plastic pollution by tackling the issue at its source. We point out environmental injustice and come up with solutions.
