Tawa Chicken is easy to cook and it is best to serve along with Roti/Naan/Chapati. #TawaChicken #PunjabiChickenTawa Tawa Chicken Recipe: Chicken - 250 grams Marinade: Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp Salt - ¼ tsp Kasuri Methi - ¼ tsp Other Ingredients: Butter - 2 tbsp Oil - 2 tbsp Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain) - ½ tsp Onion - 1 no Capsicum - ½ no Tomato - 2 nos Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp Green Chilli - 3 nos Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp Coriander Powder - 1 tsp Cumin Powder - 1 tsp Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp Curd - ½ Cup Kasuri Methi - 1 tsp Lemon Juice - 2 tsp Salt - ¾ tsp Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp Instructions: 1. Cut the chicken into strips and marinate with the ingredients mentioned under marinade. 2. Grind the tomatoes in a mixer grinder to make tomato puree. 3. In a Tawa, heat butter and add the marinated chicken pieces. Cook for 2 mins and remove the chicken from the Tawa and set aside. 4. In the same Tawa, add oil. Once the oil is hot, add the cumin seeds and carom seeds. 5. When the spices splutter, add the onions and saute until golden brown. 6. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, chopped capsicum and stir fry for 2 minutes. 7. Add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, curd and salt. Cook this for a minute. 8. Add the tomato puree and cook for another 3 minutes. 9. Add the cooked chicken strips and cook for 2 minutes. 10. Add the garam masala powder, lemon juice and Kasuri methi and saute for 2 mins. 11. Add the coriander leaves, mix well and remove from the heat. 12. Serve hot with roti/naan/chapati.
