Alan Greene, MD is the Chief Medical Officer of Scanadu, the Deputy Editor of the Journal of Participatory Medicine, a practicing pediatrician, and a leading voice in health innovation. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of California at San Francisco. In 1995 he launched DrGreene.com, cited by the AMA as "the pioneer" physician Web site and was named "The Children's Health Hero of the Internet" by Intel. Dr. Greene is a Co-founder of The Society for Participatory Medicine. He is the author of several books, including From First Kicks to First Steps, Raising Baby Green and Feeding Baby Green. He appears frequently in the media including such venues as the TODAY Show, the Dr. Oz Show, Good Morning America & The New York Times. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
