| Video Discription | There are 40 million amputees in developing countries, but only 5% have access to prosthetics and proper healthcare. Why is it that the remaining 95% don’t? My talk will address this critical question and propose possible applications of 3D printing to create affordable prosthetics for everyone. Pun is a 16-year-old Thai student at ISB. His academic interests relate to Design Technology and Physics, and he is obsessed with DIY projects. He has been fascinated with 3D printing since middle school and, recently has been building open-sourced prosthetics from E-nable organization, hoping to donate these creations to hospitals and recipients throughout Thailand. In his free time he plays alto saxophone, drums, badminton, and occasionally designs objects with CAD.
