One of the questions that I receive often is to explain how exactly one needs to hold a ball for the serve toss. So recorded a video for you with some close ups so that you'll see exactly how I place the ball in the hand and how I keep it steady. You'll also see two drills that help you calm down the hand as it's the erratic hand (and fingers) movements during the toss that cause inaccuracy. And finally, I also share an idea of an integrated toss and how the tossing motion is initiated with body movements and not with an isolated arm movement. |
