Before you relocate to the Houston suburb of Spring Texas watch this video for insights from a local. Things I love about living in Spring is the food scene. From local diners to fine dining restaurants from sushi to tex-mex to BBQ to Chinese to Greek food, the area has a diverse range of options. Another aspect I love about Spring Texas is low cost of living. Housing, healthcare, gas, food and grocery are all below the national averages. In the winter our average low temperatures are in the low to mid 40s. It's much easier to drive in heat and humidity than snow and ice. Number 1 thing I hate about living in Spring Texas is the traffic. How wonderful of a place Spring Texas is to live has gotten out. Recently we have welcomed lots of newcomers into the area from California, Utah, Washington, New York, New Jersey and Illinois. Another thing I hate about living in Spring Texas is the lack of four seasons. I miss the four seasons. We seem to have only two seasons ... hot and hotter.
