| Video Discription | 4D is the outcome of a push by AfroChampions and multiple African Union organs and agencies, and their strategic partners in the private and civil society sectors, to develop a common collaborative platform for large-scale innovation on the continent. Whilst “synergy” is an overused word in development, 4D is based on the very clear recognition that the AU’s ambitious plan to transform the continent into a leading, united, global power by 2063 cannot be achieved by its leading institutions working in silos; scrambling over limited resources; and bogged down by legacy bureaucracies, disciplinary turfs, technology myopia and colonial borders.
