'സിനിമ കേരളത്തെ അപമാനിക്കുന്നതല്ല എന്നും സിറിയയിലെ തലവെട്ടൽ പോലയുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങളൊഴികെ വയലൻസ് രംഗങ്ങൾ കുറവാണ്. ഏതെങ്കിലും മതത്തെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കണമെന്ന് സിനിമയിൽ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. സെൻസ‍ർ ചെയ്ത സിനിമയാണ് പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചത്'. സിനിമ കണ്ട ശേഷം ബിജെപി സംസ്ഥാന വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഡോ. കെ എസ് രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ പറഞ്ഞു. അതേസമയം കേരള സ്റ്റോറിക്കെതിരായ ഹര്‍ജികളില്‍ അടിയന്തര ഇടപെടല്‍ നടത്താൻ വിസമ്മതിച്ച സുപ്രീംകോടതി ഹര്‍ജിക്കാരോട് ഹൈക്കോടതിയെ സമീപിക്കാൻ നിർദേശിച്ചു. ഹൈക്കോടതിയിലെത്തുന്ന ഹര്‍ജി അടിയന്തരമായി പരിഗണിക്കണമെന്ന് ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് ഡി വൈ ചന്ദ്രചൂഢ് അധ്യക്ഷനായ ബെ‍ഞ്ച് നിർദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ചിത്രത്തിനെതിരെ മൂന്ന് ഹർജികളാണ് സുപ്രീംകോടതിയിലെത്തിയത്. സമൂഹത്തെയാകെ അധിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രം വസ്തുതാപരമല്ലാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങളെ സത്യമെന്ന രീതിയില്‍ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് ഹര്‍ജിക്കാര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഹാജരായ വൃന്ദ ഗ്രോവര്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ചിത്രം യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ സംഭവങ്ങളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലല്ലെന്ന് എഴുതിക്കാണിക്കണം. മറ്റന്നാള്‍ റിലീസാണ്. അതിനാല്‍ നാളെത്തന്നെ ഹര്‍ജി കേൾക്കണമെന്നും വൃന്ദ ഗ്രോവര്‍ കോടതിയോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസിന്‍റെ മുന്‍പിലേക്ക് ആണ് ഹര്‍ജികള്‍ എത്തിയത്.
