The comedy, romance, angst (towards the later episodes), and themes of family, loyalty, friendships were shown through each episode. This drama has great character growth and many bonds between characters. The relationships between these characters are GOLD and will be very memorable to me. I don’t remember the last time I laughed so much while watching a xianxia. 😂 I had hoped for a better happy ending. The production could’ve added just a few more minutes of the twin sisters in human form and some sort of reunion for our main leads. I haven’t seen/heard the news of a special episode. I will have to admit the main leads are really good at the emotional scenes. They can sure cry and pull on your hearts. I ❤️ how Chen Xingxu was not afraid to cry onscreen. You can feel his EMOTIONS. They deserve awards for their performances. Youqin absolute unconditional love and dedication to Yetan makes him one of my favorite xianxia male leads. I had to adjust to his deep voice at the beginning 😅 but came to love his character really quick.
