| Video Discription | Nagoro is an eccentric and somewhat eerie village on Shikoku Island in southern Japan. Instead of people, it’s filled with scarecrows that resemble the former occupants. Each of them has a unique facial expression and the village is a major tourist attraction. Homes and shops are closed. The school no longer has any students. There is one main street that runs through the village but there is hardly any traffic. The residents have been leaving for years and there are just a handful remaining. |
