| Video Discription | DreamYard's ACTION Project does frozen tableaus in the Bronx to raise awareness about the water shortage in Haiti. Remember Haiti? On January 12th the world turned their attention and news cameras to the Haitian people. Now five months later, as media attention wanes and international pledges to support rebuilding Haiti remain merely pledges, The DreamYard ACTION Project will focus their art and activism on Haiti. Throughout the summer and into the fall ACTION will conduct teach-ins and do guerilla art around the topic of Haiti. We aim to counter our collective amnesia by 1) keeping Haiti on people's minds and 2) educating about Haiti's rich history of culture and resistance.
