| Video Discription | Wild dogs in my local area have been attacking livestock and causing havoc to landowners, in this video I'm out on a contracted shoot targeting these troublesome predators. I'm running the Pulsar thermal gear in an attempt to lower pressure being applied as animals venture out into the paddocks after dark. It's often a balance with wild dogs if they are friend or foe, but this is a never ending battle which many landowners in Australia contend with. Watch the video and you'll see how everything unfolded across two separate nights. The suppressor is made by Shawmac Industries, which works amazingly well on this cartridge shooting Hornady 87gr Vmax Projectiles (all ammo is reloaded, no please don't ask me for load data as I don't share this information). Thermal scope is a Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50. My 6.5PRC is an Australia GCPD Arms Elite Series II, 24" Carbon Six barrel all sitting in the GCPD Arms fully adjustable chassis. Suppressor again is a Shawmac Industries (although larger), and I'm shooting Hornady 147gr ELD-M projectiles. Optic is a Athlon Cronus BTR Gen 2 4.5-29x56mm FFP fitted with a Pulsar Krypton 2 XG50 thermal clip on. For scanner duties, I'm running Pulsar Merger LRF XL50 thermal binoculars which are amazing. |
