| Video Discription | San Gimignano. It's my last day in Tuscany Italy, and I am in San Gimignano famous for it's merchant towers. The history of San Gimignano is fascinating and the well preserved merchant towers have lead to a second renaissance in the form of tourism for the hill town or village of San Gimiginano. During the summer months when tourism in Tuscany is at its peak, there are numerous events in the piazzas or squares of San Gimiginano including open air concerts and dancing in the street (anyone for Tango?) For me though it is the history of San Gimignano which captures the imagination and makes wandering the streets, drinking coffee in the the piazzas and soaking up the atmosphere an experience worth visiting San Gimignano for.
