A) సూర్యోదయానికి ఏ రోజు ఉందో ఆ రోజునే ఏకాదశి అంటారు . అందువల్ల మీ కేలండర్ లో ముక్కోటి ఏకాదశి అని పేరు ఉన్న రోజుని తీసుకోండి Q) పారణ ఎప్పుడు చేయాలి? A) ద్వాదశి ఘడియలు మొదలైన దగ్గర్నుంచీ, వెళ్ళిపోయేలోపు ఎప్పుడైన చేయవచ్చు. ద్వాదశి రోజు పారణ అయ్యాకా మామూలుగా భోజనం చేయవచ్చు (సాత్వికాహారం) Q) ఏకాదశి రోజు రాత్రి జగారం చేయాలా? A) రోజంతా భగవద్ ధ్యానంలో నిమగ్నమై ఉండాలన్న కోరికతో కొంతమంది చేస్తారు. అంతే కానీ నిద్ర మానేసి TV లు చూడటం లాంటివి చేసేటట్లైతే నిద్రపోవడమే మంచిది. ఉపవాసం , జాగారం కలిసి చేస్తే చాలామంది పక్కరోజు అనారోగ్యంతో మంచాన పడ్డారు. అందుకని మీ ఆరోగ్య పరిస్థితి చూసుకొని చేయండి . Q) స్త్రీలు ఋతు సమయంలో ఉపవాసం చేయవచ్చా? A) ఉపవాసం అనేది ఆరోగ్యానికి ఎప్పుడూ మంచిదే. ఋతు కాలంలో ఉపవాసం తప్పేమీ కాదు కానీ, కొన్ని సమయాల్లో చేస్తే నీరసం వచ్చి పడిపోతారు. అందువల్ల మీ శక్తినీ, ఆరోగ్య పరిస్థితిన్, శరీర తత్వాన్నీ చూసుకొని చేయండి.
