| Video Discription | Today, let's take a look at what's important to look at when you're evaluating your TikToks with a TikTok insights tutorial. If you've even been to your TikTok analytics, you know there are plenty of stats to keep an eye on, but which ones are most important? I'll use our disappearing escalator after-effects video as an example. It got just over 500,000 views on TikTok. VIDEO ANALYTICS: 1) Watch Time (ours was 13 seconds on a 12-second video) This is by far the most important metric to look at. 2) Shares (ours was 93 shares) If your watch time performs well in addition to your shares, your video has a better chance of going viral. ACCOUNT ANALYTICS The first thing I do is change the period of analytics from 7 days to 28. 1) Views over time This can tell you more about which videos are performing best. 2) After a viral video After a TikTok goes viral, be sure to put out your best content in the next few videos you post, because you'll already be ranked higher in the algorithm, which means your follow-up videos could go much further. 3) Follower sounds and videos Near the bottom, you can see what your followers are looking at, which can help you keep creating content they want to see.
