| Video Discription | As surreal as it may sound, our visit to Tirthan Valley rejuvenated us in ways we can’t explain. We stayed there for a month, indulging in so many things and exploring the entire valley. To begin with this place is so perfect for trekkers, we followed the roads through the forest and explored smaller towns like Gushaini, Banjar and Sainj. Trekking for hours exploring this old world was one of the most memorable part of our trip. The valley is known for trout fishing, and we did get lucky here with a brown and rainbow trout. But the highlight for us was our stay experience with a local Himachali family who we spent our maximum time with. We experienced their local culture and traditions by attending their local festival called “Dham”. Regular barbecue sessions after finishing the day, bonfires at night were a delight. During our visit we relished some home cooked food prepared by our caretaker, which in true sense made us feel at home. The entire valley is filled with beautiful apple orchards and lush green forests leading up to the Great Himalayan National Park. This is truly a paradise...
