| Video Discription | I shifted from using plates for my hyper-extensions because I could not progress any further with holding 45lbs plate on the back of my head. I could do 12 reps with a 45lbs plate on my head and i was concerned with how this would effect my spine. I opted to doing this instead. I am well aware that the difficulty is significantly less, but it allows me to continue progressive resistance for a longer time. My routine is Bill Star's 5x5 intermediate, this is my back assistance exercise. Currently at 2x8 @ 100lbs (28lbs bar, 2lbs clamps, 35lbs plates) |
