| Video Discription | There is an imposter on the loose! It lives in our heads. It sounds like us, it controls our bodies, and it pretends to be us. But in reality, this imposter is a maniac. I'm talking of course about the human ego. This often maniacal ego is both very arrogant and very insecure. It's impatient and it's demanding. It places its self-importance above all else, including relationships and even our own inner peace. It must always be right, even when it's wrong. It thinks it's got it all figured out, but in reality all it's achieved is convincing us that we need it to survive and that it is our boss. As long as the ego keeps us lost in thought, always comparing, always accumulating, always criticizing and complaining so that it can feel superior, never letting us feel satisfied and content for even a moment, then we will continue to suffer and be unable to break free from the ego's grasp.
