| Video Discription | (17 Jul 2018) Organisers of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games took members of the media on a tour of the proposed venues on Tuesday. With about two years to go before the opening of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in Japan, members of the media were given a tour of five different facilities. Organisers explained the updated progress of the constructions that are all on schedule, according to Tokyo Metropolitan Government officials. The tour included Canoe Slalom Course, Sea Forest Waterway, Ariake Arena, Olympic Aquatics Centre and the Olympic village. Canoe Slalom Course will be the first artificial slalom course in Japan. Organisers say they will use 43 venues - they are made up of 25 existing facilities, 10 temporary venues, and eight new venues that will be permanent. Tokyo organisers have said the Olympics will cost 1.35 trillion yen (about 12.6 billion US dollars).
