| Video Discription | Brinjal Mezhukku. INGREDIENTS 1. Oil - 3 tbsp 2. Shallots - handful 3. Crushed garlic - 6 cloves 4. Curry leaves 5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp 6. Brinjal - 400g 7. Salt to taste 8. Crushed pepper - 1/2 tbsp 9. Chilli flakes - 3/4 tbsp 10. Garam masala - 1/2 tsp PREPARATION 1. Pour 3 tbsp oil, handful of sliced shallots, 6 crushed garlic cloves, and curry leaves on a heated kadai. Sauté till it turns translucent. 2. To this, add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 400g chopped brinjal, salt to taste, 1/2 tbsp crushed pepper, 3/4 tbsp chilli flakes and 1/2 tsp garam masala. 3. Combine, cover and cook for 5 mins on medium-low flame.
