| Video Discription | Top 10 PATNA: Patna is an ancient city that sprawls along the south bank of the Ganges River in Bihar, northeast India. The state capital, it’s home to Bihar Museum, a contemporary landmark exhibiting bronze sculptures and old coins from the region. Nearby, Indo-Saracenic–style Patna Museum displays a casket believed to contain the Buddha’s ashes. Close to the river, the Golghar is a domed colonial granary overlooking the city. 1.Golghar: A building in the shape of a beehive, Golghar originally served the purpose of a storehouse. It was built in 1786 by Captain John Garstin and provides a panoramic view of the entire city along with the River Ganga. 2.Patna Museum: Situated in the city of Patna, Bihar, the Patna Museum, locally known as the Jadu Ghar is a very popular museum, storing more than 50,000 rare art objects, including Indian artefacts from the ancient, middle ages and the British colonial era. It was built in 1917 and was started on 3 April of the same year during the British rule to house the historical artefacts founded in Patna. This place is a must-visit for those who wish to experience the historical culture. The rich collection of the museum will take you back to the past to reminisce Indian history and glory. 3.Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan: Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan is located off Bailey Road in Patna, Bihar, India. The park was opened to the public as a zoo in 1973. The park is Patna's most frequented picnic spot, with more than 36,000 visitors on New Year's Day alone in 2011. 4.Takht Sri Patna Sahib: Takht Sri Patna Sahib also known as Harmandir Sahib, is a Gurdwara in the neighbourhood of Patna Sahib, India. It was to commemorate the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs on December 1666. 5.Mahavir Mandir: Mahavir Mandir is the second largest religious shrine in North India. It is one of the leading temples dedicated to the worship of Lord Hanuman. Thousands of devotees from different parts of the country flock in here daily to offer prayer to and seek the blessings of Bajrang Bali. It is believed that Sankat Mochan Hanuman listens to the prayers of his faithful devotees hence if worshipped with a pure heart no wishes of yours would be left unfulfilled. Therefore, it is also known as "Manokamna Temple." 6.Mahatma Gandhi Setu: Mahatma Gandhi Setu is a bridge over the river Ganges connecting Patna in the south to Hajipur in the north of Bihar. Its length is 5,575 metres and it is one of the longest river bridges in India, inaugurated in May 1982 by the then Prime Minister, Mrs Indira Gandhi. 7.Buddha Smriti Park: Buddha Smriti Park also known as Buddha Memorial Park is an urban park located on Frazer Road near Patna Junction in Patna, India. This park has been developed by the Bihar Government to commemorate the 2554th birth anniversary of the Buddha. 8.Funtasia Water Park: Funtasia Water Park is an amusement and water park located in Patna, India. The park contains many attractions such as numerous water slides and water playgrounds. The park is the first water park in Bihar. 9.Bihar Museum: Bihar Museum is a state-of-the-art museum that houses the thousands of years old historical and cultural evolution of Bihar, as well as artefacts and religious findings. From the ages of Indus valley, the Guptas and Mauryas, to folk culture to displays of wildlife creatures _ the museum has something to offer for every field. 10.Nalanda University: Nalanda was a Mahavihara, a large Buddhist monastery, in the ancient kingdom of Magadha (modern-day Bihar) in India. The site is located about 95 kilometres (59 mi) southeast of Patna near the city of Bihar Sharif, and was a centre of learning from the fifth century CE to c. 1200 CE. a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
