'Now the government has reformed its disinvestment program into privatization program and I am quite sure that the government will now sell its jewels very smartly.' says Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. The Big Bull also mentioned that due to limited capital and before this could happen I was badly committed and he had the highest leverage of his life and that he is not a person who easily buys or sells and he is so highly committed today that unfortunately, he doesn't have an investment in the public sector. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala also said, 'The improvement of profitability and valuations for the public sector and smaller banks will be much higher than the favoured banks. Secondly, the liquidity in India is only 6-7 lakh crores and the loan outstanding is 15-20 times 6-7 lakh crores and if we have to grow 11% next year then I see no way we grow until and unless credit growth is 15%.'
