| Video Discription | The area size will be dependent of the age group of the players and their ability. You will need enough space to encourage quick attacking and counter attacking play, also ensuring the defending team have the chance to recover realistically. 3 teams of 4 (you can have more teams and players; however this will impact on the amount of touches on the ball and repetitions the players will get). The team that attacks first will then stay on the pitch when a goal is scored or the ball goes out of play, they will then become the defending team. Repeat this sequence for the time you allow for each set. The focus is on quick passing, running with the ball and finishing; however as soon as the ball changes hands can the team win the ball back quickly. |
