Indeed, New York's highest court just refused to take up Trump's appeal on the gag order issue. But alas, Trump-appointed Judge Aileen Cannon is about to step to the plate and take a swing at the narrow gag order Special Counsel Jack Smith has requested in Trump's Florida prosecution. On another important front, a retired judge who served on the federal bench for 27 years, just gave an interview to NPR and opined that Judge Cannon has shown "favoritism" toward defendant Trump and antagonism toward the prosecutors in the case.
