Spirit house (built to apologize for disturbing the spirits through new construction). Local wiping brow (it's hot here - even for the locals!) Brian paying at least triple what we should have for the ride (120 baht = $3.85), but it was at the end of a long shopping day and negotiating powers were weakened by our desire to get back to the hotel. And getting this movie with this driver was worth the expense! Not to mention a taxi navigating the main streets would have taken 3 times as long.
