| Video Discription | What is "FINGERBANG" FINGERBANG is a dream of mine that has itched my head for over 20 years. I recall seeing my auntie driving from the back seat of her Infiniti sedan. Her hands would be at 10 and 2 of the steering wheel; her thumbs would bop/switch up and down, rhythmically to whatever was playing; all the while, she was focused on the road. This always tickled me and I vowed I would make a song for her some day. That is the first origin of FINGERBANG. The next desire for FINGERBANG came from a personal vendetta to Souldja Boy and Nicki Minaj. Not really them perse, it just sounds cool. More-so is at the "Kids Bop" franchise. Simply put, they make poppy kid song playlists out of radio hits. I am astonished that hip hop sensations such as "Crank That Souldja Boy" and "Anaconda" have made it to their playlists.--- *Side note- Ive also been a teacher (mostly Kids) for over 10 years and in the process, seen the innuendos of humor and layers of thought with production that go into content such as "Spongebob", "Chowder", "Yo Gabba Gabba" so that adults can enjoy as well. --- Un-sidenote --- FINGERBANG is not a directly song for kids, perse, although I do have a "Kids Bop" friendly version. I aspire for world DJs to mix this in their sets for people across the world to FINGERBANG and fingerdance their hearts away in glee. I hope you are starting to see my vision. The final reference of FINGERBANG comes with a push from the TV animation "South Park". I respect what they did with their Season 4 Episode 8 called, "Something You Can Do With Your Finger". They had a parody of the song FINGERBANG. It was neat. This is not that. This, in summary, is how "FINGERBANG" formed. I am more-so known as the director/rap/freestyle/reggae guy, and this is another chamber of me that wants to get funky and rock out. I expect this song to get remixed to the gods by some of the greats such as: DJ Aoki, Martin Garrix, DJ Kool Herc,DJ Taj, Benny Bennassi, Girl Talk, and Funk Master Flex; just to name a few. I believe the world can't deny a hit. It sounds raunchy and vulgar at face value, yet it isn't! For the most part, innocent. And I am personally tickled by the idea. I believe you will chuckle to yourself as well when you put it into perspective. I'm rebranding the word with a fun and welcoming tone, "FINGERBANG" is that hit. And its a real grass roots thing. Via "Jersey Shore" and those that like to 'fist pump', I hope this can help the wallflowers dance and the bedazzlers shine harder. #FINGERBANG is comparable to the "Dab" "bling-bling" "Maestroso" and "XYZ" all rolled into one. It is a loser-friendly song. For those that cant dance but wanna move something. Or like the Chinese Kung-fu; a driving force of your life in many ways (sub pun ;). Most people have fingers.
