| Video Discription | Hello all, Oh boy...this is an interesting video! Shane travels through some spaces on the bow of USS Little Rock showing spaces, where on 8 November, 1943 USS Birmingham, CL62 was torpedoed. Like our USS Abner Read videos, Shane uses the Damage Report diagrams to walk through spaces. This is an unedited video, and it should be stressed there are areas that you can fast forward, as it's him getting gear on, climbing down verticals and the like. This video seems to be a confederacy of dunes...but, instead just Shane being a dunce. He'll clean up his act before Part II and Part III. Please leave comments - we want to hear from you. Are these videos cool? Do you feel they should be edited?, Are they not professional enough? USS Birmingham was commissioned on January 29, 1943, saw action in the Atlantic and Pacific. She was a Cleveland Class Cruiser, and suffered numerous hits and impacts, but nothing that she couldn't handle. She was sold for scrap on November 12, 1959. |
