| Video Discription | he anatomy of a smile involves the use of various facial muscles that work together to create a distinctive expression of happiness and joy. A smile typically involves the contraction of the orbicularis oculi muscle around the eyes, as well as the zygomatic major muscle, which raises the corners of the mouth. The muscles around the mouth, including the risorius and the orbicularis oris, also play a role in forming a smile. Smiling also triggers the release of endorphins, the brain's natural feel-good chemicals, which further contribute to the feeling of happiness associated with smiling. Overall, the anatomy of a smile is a complex interplay of muscles and brain chemistry, creating a universal expression of joy and positivity. VASUDHA RAI is an author, columnist and podcaster who has written on beauty and wellness for more than two decades. Her bestseller, Glow: Indian Foods, Recipes and Rituals for Beauty, Inside and Out, has revived the use of traditional ingredients in everyday living. She is a certified yoga teacher. Her beauty column appears in HT Mint Lounge and her podcast, Holistic Healing with Vasudha Rai-in association with Red FM, India's leading radio channel-streams on all major platforms.
