| Video Discription | Can a woman ovulate and still not get pregnant. There are many causes for infertility or subfertility. We do not call it infertility anymore because of the technical advances however just because a woman ovulates it doesn’t mean that she is fertile because there is along tract that the sperm has to undertake to fertilize the egg. So there is the cervix, the uterus, the tubes and rendezvous of the fertilization takes place at the ampullary part of the tube. So if the tube is blocked, this is the most common cause, of anovulatory infertility and ofcourse the sperm has to be there is adequate numbers. So ovulation is not the only criteria which would say that the woman could be fertile.
