| Video Discription | Please stop mixing vinegar and baking soda when cleaning. While it’s a very fun reaction it completely naturalizes the benefits of both. Baking soda, sodium bicarbonate, is a high pH water softener that should be introduced early in the wash cycle. To achieve this add a tablespoon or two directly into the drum. Baking soda is also an amazing laundry booster that I talk about in other videos! Vinegar is an acidic low pH chemical that should be introduced late in the wash cycle. Vinegar helps with stain and odor removal along with fabric softening. When you combine the two they neutralize each other, from a pH perspective, which negates a lot of their benefits.
