The Devil's bathtub is one of Virginia's most popular hikes in Scotts County, Va. And it definitely isn't a secret anymore! HELPFUL TIPS: Some apps rank this as a challenging hike, but it's only tricky navigating creek crossings. Wear good water shoes and don't worry about getting your feet wet. In the summer it gets crazy packed so go early. We went on a Wednesday at 8 a.m. and had it all to ourselves for over an hour. We already mentioned this, but you'll definitely want water shoes or waterproof hiking boots! Watch the weather. Flash floods are a danger here, especially after the rain. Most importantly, enjoy the hike.
