| Video Discription | The Enforcement Directorate has filed a money laundering lawsuit against Vivo and its subsidiaries. The investigating agency took a FIR and executed searches under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Raids were conducted at 44 premises belonging to Vivo, associate companies, and sister companies. In December, the Income Tax Department searched Vivo and other Chinese phone makers. The IT department stated more than Rs 500 crore was wrongly declared. It's alleged that money was misappropriated in the name of royalty. The ED had earlier attached Xiaomi's bank accounts worth Rs 5,000 crore. But the Karnataka High Court stayed the move. Xiaomi alleged that the ED forced its top officials, but the investigating agency denied this.
