This Volume is a really great addition to watching the anime, because I felt the anime episode was kinda all over the place. The novel cleared everything up. So we're seeing developments from all end. Sudo is just magically always finding a way to make things tough. But I guess that opens up space for Ichinose to make her entrance & man she's an interesting character to follow. It's pretty obvious she also isn't a fan of Ryuen, so it's a possibility of alliances being formed B + D vs. C + A. But yeah we'll definitely find out soon. We're also slowly getting a spotlight for each member in class D, with Sakura being introduced this time. It's kind of super obvious though that she'll be part of the harem but that's pretty whatever. In terms of anime differences the biggest one would be just how things happen. Like in the anime Kushida was the one who introduced Ichinose but clearly in the novel Ichinose had a much deeper relationship with Ayanokouji. Also the confrontation between Horikita & Ayanokouji was way more serious this time around than the previous times. Light novel Ayanokouji definitely seems like a more colorful version of Ayankouji. Also Sae conspiring with Horikita I think is a much better build up for what I'm sure is going to come in the next few volumes.
