| Video Discription | I do a lot of corporate filmmaking these days, but like many videographers I started my video career off in wedding videography, and after 8 years of wedding videography I’ve learnt a lot. I was going to create a how to film a wedding video, but realised that I learnt a lot more from my mistakes then I ever did from what I got right. So I started out filming weddings in 2011 and after my first one, which I filmed for free, for family, I got a notepad and wrote down all the mistakes I made and what I needed to do to correct them for next time, I did that for my first 15 or so weddings, and before each new wedding I would read through the list to make sure that I didn’t repeat the same mistakes for the upcoming one. So today I thought I’d share some of the points on that list and let you know the top ten mistakes that I made when starting out in wedding videography, and what you can do to avoid them.
