Around 5 years after the battle of Yavin, the Confederacy of corporate systems was formed, hoping to rebirth the ideals of the old Confederacy of Independent systems, and break free from the former rule of the Empire, and the upcoming rule of the New Republic. It was mostly made up of the people who lived on corporate worlds, after most of the big corporations were dissolved by Palpatine and the empire. It also consisted of many true believers of the separatist movement, who never gave up hope. Chancellor of the New Republic at the time, Mon Mothma quickly became very unsettled by the newly arising Confederacy, as well as two other governments hoping to bring back the old ways |
